What we use your data for
You can search and compare schools without an account. Saved schools remain on your device. For operator contact, we process the name, contact details, subject, message and permission you provide so we can respond. A school enquiry contains the information you choose to share with the named school. Claims, corrections and reviews are retained for assessment and abuse prevention; an email address or private contact evidence does not become a public reviewer name. Functional tokens, limited security records and sessions protect forms and private school information. We use the data necessary to handle your request and the communication you ask for; security and abuse assessment serve the legitimate interest of keeping the service safe. Sharing permission for an enquiry is specific to that request and does not cover marketing.
Who receives your data
Operator contact goes to Rijmaatje. A school enquiry form and receipt explain whether Rijmaatje still needs to forward it. Receipt does not prove email delivery or a booked lesson. Only authorised operators and the authorised school can access the information needed to handle it. Hosting and email providers may process data to deliver these services. The specific processors and any transfers outside the EEA must be documented below before launch.

How long we keep data
Data is kept no longer than needed for its purpose. The publisher sets a specific period or applicable criterion for each data category, including contact, school enquiries, claims, reviews, security records and backups. The agreed rules for this version are listed below.

Your information and rights
Contact the privacy contact to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your data, or to object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may request information to verify your identity safely. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Information you provide directly to a driving school also falls under that school’s responsibility.
