What does a profile status mean?

A driving school profile may include information about an ownership claim or verification. Learn what these terms mean and how to read an unknown status.

Four terms

Each status has its own meaning.

Publication, an ownership claim, verification and a commercial relationship are separate. One status does not prove another.

Published

A published profile is visible in the catalogue. This alone does not establish an ownership claim or a check of its information.

Claimed

This reflects whether the source records the profile as claimed. A claim alone is not a quality label and does not prove that all information is current.

Verified

This reflects the recorded verification status. Without further detail about the check, it should not be read as a general quality guarantee.

Customer status

Customer status describes a commercial relationship. A subscription or payment alone does not prove that a school or its information has been verified.

Consider statuses alongside the offers, experiences and a personal conversation. No badge or position in a sorted list replaces your own judgement.

Clear about missing information

Unknown stays unknown.

An unknown claim or verification status means the information is not recorded in the data being used. It does not mean the school has been rejected. A missing status is not automatically treated as confirmed either.

Read the source information on the profile and confirm important details with the school. A source date records when the data was captured; it does not prove a new check of the information.

How to use Rijmaatje
Know what you are looking at

A clear picture starts with the source.

This version uses a captured set of public driving school data. It does not fetch live details from each school on every visit. Confirm important details directly with the school.

Data captured on

2 Nov 2026

This is when the source data was captured. It does not prove that every price, status or experience was checked individually on that date.

A few more things

Good to know.

Does claimed mean the same as verified?

No. An ownership claim and a verification status are separate pieces of information. A claim alone does not confirm that the offers or school have been checked.

Does a verification status guarantee my lessons?

A recorded status is not a general quality or pass guarantee. Read any explanation of the check and make your own arrangements about lessons, prices and support.

Why does a status sometimes say unknown?

When the source data does not contain a clear claim or verification status, it stays unknown. We do not fill in a missing status ourselves.
